📔 SEC is preparing a standardized rule to simplify the listing of spot crypto-ETFs
This could reduce the application review time from 240 to 75 days. The new approach will replace the current individual approval system through the 19b-4 process.
📅 In early July, the regulator published a 12-page guide with basic requirements for issuers, including asset storage transparency and risk management.
The main regulation is expected in the fall and will allow exchanges to avoid repetitive procedures for each new ETF.
💸 Among the products awaiting approval, ETFs on Solana are drawing particular attention. However, the launch is only possible after the final rules are published.
Some companies have already found workarounds: REX Financial and Osprey Funds launched an indirect ETF on Solana through foreign structures, raising $12 million on the first day.
