I'm more and more considering not investing in real estate at all because of several reasons.

Actually you can buy S&P500 trackers and outperform real estate, while keeping your money liquid and have nothing that needs to get managed.

The only negative is that the S&P500 dividends are not as high as the rent returns. But it was in the past, and that can change again.

Anyone who can tell me why real estate is still a great idea?
