According to Foresight News, China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the State Administration of Radio and Television have jointly issued a notice to initiate the 2025 Metaverse Case Recommendation initiative. This effort aims to identify exemplary cases in the metaverse, including digital human cases, product cases, park cases, and standard cases.
The initiative requires that the creative ideas, products, technologies, and related patents of the submitted cases belong to the applicants, who must possess independent intellectual property rights without any disputes. For digital human cases, applicants must hold all intellectual property rights related to the virtual images involved or have obtained legal authorization from the rights holders.
The submitted cases should demonstrate high technical standards and complete practical applications. They should also exhibit strong representativeness, innovation, and scalability, offering significant reference and promotional value to relevant industries or enterprises.
