2020 – The platform introduced Binance Smart Chain (BSC), enabling low-fee and high-speed smart contract functionality — a major step into the DeFi space.
2021 – Binance faced increasing regulatory scrutiny worldwide but continued to grow, focusing on compliance, licensing, and global user safety. BNB reached new all-time highs.
2022 – Binance strengthened its global presence and invested in many Web3 projects. CZ became one of the most influential figures in crypto.
