Breakout trading is one of my favorite strategies when volatility rises, especially around news or market openings. To confirm a real breakout, I focus on volume — a spike in volume is often the best sign of true momentum. I also wait for a candle close above resistance (or below support for short setups), rather than entering on the first spike.
To avoid fakeouts, I use a retest confirmation, where the price pulls back to the breakout level and holds. I set tight stop-losses just inside the range and take partial profits early.
Tools like Bollinger Bands, RSI, and support/resistance zones help add confluence. It's not just about breakout entry — it's about managing the position smartly.
#BreakoutTradingStrategy is powerful, but discipline is key. What are your confirmation tools? $BNB
