#TrumpTariffs President of the United States Donald Trump announced the introduction of new tariffs on imports of goods from countries. The tariffs will take effect on August 1, 2025, and will reach 40%. Japan, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Tunisia — 25%; South Africa, Bosnia and Herzegovina — 30%; Indonesia — 22%; Bangladesh, Serbia — 25%; Thailand and Cambodia — 36%; Laos and Myanmar — 40%. At the same time, as stated in the letters, if countries decide to build or produce products on US territory, the tariffs will not apply. Trump also promised to "do everything possible to quickly, professionally, and in an orderly manner provide all permits for such investments. My opinion regarding production in the USA is this rule: the country receives investments, jobs, and most importantly, taxes for the budget.
