Just five days before the end of the tariff truce that Donald Trump granted to Europe and the rest of the world, the U.S. president has decided to reactivate his trade pressure strategy: each country will receive, starting this Friday, an official letter detailing the tariff that the U.S. will impose starting July 9.

The tariffs, as Trump himself has indicated, will range from 10% to 70%, and there will be no exceptions. In the president's words: "We are going to start sending letters. And the money will start coming into the U.S. starting August 1."
