My heart sank. I saw the 'payment proof', released my USDT, and waited... The money never came. 💔 I was scammed on Binance P2P, and it was a painful lesson I'm sharing so you don't have to learn it the hard way. 👊
Before we go any further, burn this into your brain:
🔥 A SCREENSHOT IS NOT MONEY. 🚫
Only YOUR own banking app showing the funds are in your account is real proof.
The Scammer's Playbook: Know Their Tricks 👇
* The Fake Proof 🧾: They will send you a perfect-looking screenshot or PDF. It’s a FAKE. 🤥 ALWAYS wait for your bank's SMS or in-app notification.
* The 'Hurry Up' Pressure ⏳: Scammers will rush you, saying they're in a hurry. This is a tactic to make you panic and release the crypto. 😨 Slow down. It's your money.
* The Verification Lie ✅: They might have a high rating or a 'verified' badge. It means nothing if their behavior is suspicious. 🤔 Treat every single trade with caution.
🛡️ Your Defense Strategy 🛡️
* ✅ CONFIRM FIRST: Check your bank app. See the money. THEN release the crypto. Period. 💯
* ✅ MATCH NAMES: Does the sender's name on the payment match their Binance profile name? If not, HUGE red flag. 🚩 Do not proceed.
* ✅ STAY ON BINANCE CHAT: Keep all communication inside the Binance chat. 💬 It's your only evidence if something goes wrong.
