Aptos is a layer 1 blockchain (L1) built on Facebook's Move programming language. The main goal of the project is to provide users with high scalability, security, convenience, and reliability.

On July 12, the network will release 11.31 million APT for $50 million — this is 1.75% of the current circulation. Most of these tokens will be distributed to the community, and about 10% will go to staking rewards.
