Techub News: The UK's Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) has announced that a court in central London has sentenced operators Raymondip Bedi and Patrick Mavanga to a total of 12 years in prison for running a fraudulent cryptocurrency investment scheme. Bedi was sentenced to five years and four months in prison, while Mavanga received a sentence of six years and six months. Between February 2017 and June 2019, the two defrauded at least 65 investors out of more than £1.54 million ($2.1 million) by promoting fake cryptocurrency investments to victims. The two pleaded guilty to multiple charges last November.
