#MuskAmericaParty
Elon Musk announced today the creation of the "America Party," his new political force in the U.S., amid a growing clash with Donald Trump.
According to Reuters and Business Insider, Musk launched the formation of the party on July 6, after posting a poll on X on July 4 where 65% of 1.25 million users voted in favor.
He describes the bipartisan system as "debt slavery" and strengthens his role as a political agitator.
The party self-identifies as an alternative for the "80% middle," without yet developing a specific program.
The move comes after Trump signed the controversial "Big, Beautiful Bill," a massive spending project that Musk has criticized harshly.
Although the viability of a third party in the U.S. is uncertain, Musk has resources, followers, and support from figures like Andrew Yang and Mark Cuban.
The next step will be to articulate proposals and engage in key elections.
