"I am sorry to see Elon Musk completely veering off course and turning into a real disaster over the past five weeks. He even wants to establish a third political party, even though they have never succeeded in the United States - it seems the system is not designed for them. What benefits third parties is creating disruption and utter chaos, and enough is enough with the radical leftist Democrats who have lost their confidence and minds! As for the Republicans, they are a 'machine' that operates smoothly, and they just passed the largest bill of its kind in our country's history. It is a great bill, but unfortunately for Elon, it cancels the ridiculous electric vehicle mandate that would have forced everyone to buy an electric car in a short period. I have strongly opposed that from the beginning. People are now allowed to buy what they want - gasoline cars, or hybrid cars (which perform very well), or new technologies as they emerge - no more electric vehicle mandates. I have campaigned on this for two years, and to be completely honest, when Elon gave me his full and unconditional support, I asked him whether he knew or not that I would end the electric vehicle mandate - that was in every speech I gave, and in every conversation I had. He said he didn't mind - I was extremely surprised! Additionally, Elon asked one of his close friends to manage NASA, and while I thought his friend was very good, I was surprised to learn that he was a staunch Democrat and had never contributed to support a Republican before. Maybe Elon was too. I also thought it was inappropriate for a very close friend of Elon's, who worked in the space field, to manage NASA when NASA is a big part of Elon's corporate life. My first mission is to protect the American people!"
