Launching a new party means building a platform, registering with the Federal Election Commission, gaining access to the ballot boxes in every state, and recruiting candidates - all while avoiding lawsuits from Democrats and Republicans trying to stop him.

What is Elon's step? Targeting only two or three seats in the Senate and eight to ten seats in the House of Representatives - avoiding national controversy, and focusing on areas where the margins of victory are extremely narrow.

He is gathering millions of votes on X and has an established political action committee, and he can quickly and easily gather signatures.

And if he succeeds in doing that, it could be the biggest disruption in American politics in recent memory and the beginning of a new era for the third party.
