Altseason: Will the altcoin party arrive, or has it been canceled?
Many investors were waiting for a strong altseason, but so far the signals are contradictory.
It is worth remembering that the scenario in the previous cycle was not different from what we are experiencing now. In fact, the uncertainty was much greater:
Between 2020 and 2021, the altcoin season began amid many uncertainties caused by the Covid19 pandemic.
After a strong rise in Bitcoin that started in the second half of 2020, with BTC reaching new historical highs, interest and capital began to spread to altcoins. Projects related to DeFi, GameFi, and NFTs gained prominence.
The increasing liquidity in the market, combined with technological innovations and strategic partnerships, boosted altcoins like Ethereum, Solana, Filecoin, AXS (Axie Infinity), Terra (Luna), and others, which saw significant appreciation during this period.
Can you imagine how many people changed their financial status by the end of that cycle?
