Spot trading is my go-to for long-term investments and building my crypto portfolio. I only invest what I can afford to hold for months or even years, and I don’t use leverage. I manage risk by diversifying across different coins and setting clear stop-loss targets for each position.
For futures trading, I take a much more disciplined approach. I only use small portions of my capital per trade (usually 1-2%) and always set both stop-loss and take-profit orders. I use lower leverage (3-5x max) to control risk and never let emotions take over. Position sizing and risk management are key in futures—capital preservation comes first!
