#MuskAmericaParty Elon Musk says he is launching a new political party, weeks after having a strong dispute with U.S. President Donald Trump.

The billionaire announced on his social media platform X that he has created the America Party, presenting it as a challenge to the Republican and Democratic two-party system.

However, it is unclear whether the party has been formally registered with U.S. election authorities. Musk, who was born outside the U.S. and therefore is not eligible to run for U.S. president, does not say who will lead it.
