#MuskAmericaParty Elon Musk has indeed announced the creation of a new party.

He criticizes both leading parties

in the USA — the Democrats and

Republicans. What does this mean; -

Musk is a super-influencer:

He has over 180 million

followers on X (Twitter).

He is capable of instantly

changing the agenda.

Musk can personally finance the launch of the party, campaigns, and

media presence at a

level that is unavailable to most politicians. Unique media power: Musk can bypass

traditional media through

his platforms. Moreover, he has

support among the youth

and the business class. There is also

political fatigue from

Dem/Repub: many are looking for an alternative.

All these advantages give Musk hope for success in creating a new party of power. However, there are also problems. In the USA, there is a two-party system; third parties almost always fail in elections. Musk is unpredictable, and he lacks managerial political experience. From this, I conclude that there is potential, but not in the classical sense

of creating a full-fledged party,

that will win elections.

Rather, it will be a force that will

redirect votes,

lobby for a tech agenda

(including cryptocurrencies).
