The origin of the word is a misspelling of "Hold" in a cryptocurrency forum in 2013, but it later evolved into a slogan expressing the idea of "Hold On for Dear Life".

Main idea:

✅Long-term confidence: You believe that the value of the digital asset will significantly increase over the long term, surpassing any temporary declines or rises.

✅Avoid selling out of panic: Do not sell your coins even if their price drops significantly, and do not sell them during minor rises either.
