Hyundai Motor Group, which includes the brands Hyundai, Kia, and Genesis, topped the vehicle safety rating by the American Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in 2025, surpassing recognized leaders like Volvo and Subaru.
The South Korean conglomerate received 15 awards, including the Top Safety Pick and Top Safety Pick+ categories. Among the awarded models are the electric vehicles Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6, crossovers Tucson and Santa Fe, sedans Elantra and Sonata, as well as the premium Genesis G90.
