Musk's main motivation is to oppose the massive tax cuts and spending laws recently signed by President Donald Trump, which he referred to as "debt slavery" and a result of a "corrupt uniparty." The formation of this party marks a serious rift between Musk and Trump.

Musk is not targeting the presidency in the near future. Instead, the "America Party" will focus on the 2026 midterm elections, aiming for several Senate seats (2-3) and House of Representatives seats (8-10) to become "kingmakers" in important legislation. He is inspired by the strategy of ancient Greek military, aiming to "destroy the political status quo" with directed power.

As of now, details regarding the legal structure, leadership, or complete platform of the party have yet to be released. This move underscores Musk's intention to create a new political force that challenges the dominance of Democrats and Republicans.
