In the crypto world, choosing between spot and futures depends as much on the investor's profile as on their objectives.
đŻ Spot trading is pure investment: you actually buy the asset ($BTC, $ETHâŠ) and hold it, often aiming for the medium/long term. Here, I favor gradual entries (DCA) and keep an eye on the fundamentals. No leverage = less stress đ.
âïž Futures contracts are the domain of active traders. You can win (or lose) quickly thanks to leverage, but also due to well-placed stop-losses. Here, I set a rigid position size (1-3% max of capital), and I cut my losses quickly.
