Bybit will charge an 18% GST to Indian users starting July 7, 2025, covering spot, leverage, derivatives, fiat, withdrawals, and staking. After selling 1 BTC (100,000 USDT), the actual amount received will be 99,882 USDT.
Starting July 9, Bybit will discontinue the old crypto loans, Bybit card, and multiple trading bots in India. Card trading will be disabled from July 17, and loans will be automatically repaid.
With an existing 30% income tax and 1% TDS, the crypto tax burden in India reaches 49%.
