Bybit will implement an 18% GST on Indian users starting July 7, 2025, covering spot, margin, derivatives, fiat, crypto withdrawals, and staking. Selling 1 BTC at 100,000 USDT results in 99,882 USDT after tax and fees.

From July 9, Bybit will discontinue legacy crypto loans, Bybit card, and trading bots (Spot Grid, DCA, Futures Combo). Card transactions end July 17, loans auto-repaid.

Combined with existing 30% profit tax and 1% TDS, India’s total crypto tax burden reaches 49%.
