Eric Finman is a 12-year-old teenager who became the youngest Bitcoin millionaire. In 2011, he received a gift from his grandmother — $1,000, which was supposed to go towards college. Instead, Eric invested it in Bitcoin, whose price was then less than $10. The idea came to him after a chance meeting with a BTC enthusiast during a protest:

Disappointed with his school experience, he dropped out at 15. Eric became passionate, studied the technology, and took the risk to invest in Bitcoin. By the end of 2013, when the price of BTC rose to $1,200, Finman sold part of his assets and made his first $100,000. The young investor made a bet with his parents: if he became a millionaire by the age of 18, they would not force him to go to college. In the end, Eric won this bet.
