On Friday, Iran's Armed Forces Chief of Staff, Major General Abdolrahim, confirmed that 'Iran's enemies' had miscalculated when they attacked the country in the form of American-Israeli strikes in June. The general delivered his remarks at a memorial service honouring fallen Iranian military leaders, including former IRGC commander Hossein Salami, former chief of staff Mohammad Bagheri, and aerospace force commander Amir Ali Hajizadeh, who were all killed in Israeli attacks. "Their plan was meticulously calculated and rehearsed," Mousavi stated, adding, "However, they miscalculated on three things: the Leader [Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei], the people, and the power of reaction of the armed forces."
