Traditional markets were closed on Independence Day in the USA, and while crypto markets never sleep, Bitcoin (BTC) seems to have been in a deep slumber all week. The cryptocurrency remained at $107K and largely did not react to numerous macroeconomic events that triggered a rise in the stock market.
US President Donald Trump signed a trade agreement with Vietnam, the economy added 147,000 jobs, the unemployment rate decreased, the "One Big Beautiful Bill" (OBB) was successfully passed, and the US House of Representatives designated the week of July 14 as "Crypto Week."
