¿SPOT OR FUTURES?

The hashtag #SpotVSFuturesStrategy de Binance seems great to me because it puts the key discussion for any crypto-trader at the center: to trade in Spot or in Futures? I see it this way: with Spot trading you buy and sell cryptos directly, you have them in your wallet. It's more relaxed, with less risk, and I recommend it if you are looking to invest long-term.

Now, Futures trading is another story. Here you don't buy the crypto, but rather bet on whether its price will go up or down in the future. You use contracts and, many times, leverage. This means you can earn much more, but you can also lose it all super fast! The risk of liquidation is real.

In the end, the decision between one strategy or the other depends on how much risk you are willing to take, what you want to achieve with your investment, and how much experience you have. Binance provides the tools for both, but they always insist on risk management and that you know very well what you are getting into before jumping in.
