The Law to provide for reconciliation pursuant to Title II of H. Con. Res. 14, colloquially, but not officially known as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA; OBBB; BBB), or Big Beautiful Bill, is a budget reconciliation law passed by the 119th Congress of the United States containing fiscal and spending policies that form the core of President Donald Trump's second term agenda. The bill was signed into law by President Trump on July 4, 2025. [1] [2] Before being signed, the Senate approved the bill by 51–50 on July 1, 2025, with Vice President JD Vance casting a tie-breaking vote in support of the measure. The OBBBA was passed by the House of Representatives, 218–214, on July 3, 2025. The bill was approved against universal Democratic opposition in both houses.
