#OneBigBeautifulBill
The Act to provide for reconciliation pursuant to title II of H. Con. Res. 14, colloquially but unofficially known as the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA; OBBB; BBB), or the Big Beautiful Bill, is a budget reconciliation law passed by the 119th United States Congress containing tax and spending policies that form the core of President Donald Trump's second-term agenda. The bill was signed into law by President Trump on July 4, 2025.[1][2] Before being signed into law, the Senate approved the bill 51–50 on July 1, 2025, with Vice President JD Vance casting a tiebreaking vote in support of the bill. The OBBBA passed the House of Representatives, 218–214, on July 3, 2025. The bill was passed over universal Democratic opposition in both houses.
