ZachXBT: Brazilian Central Bank service provider C&M suffered a cyber attack at the end of last month, approximately $140 million was stolen

Foresight News reported that on June 30, 2025, C&M Software, a vendor for the Central Bank of Brazil, suffered a cyber attack, resulting in approximately $140 million (800 million reais) being stolen. The attackers breached the reserve accounts of six financial institutions and converted $30 million to $40 million into cryptocurrency. An employee of C&M received only $2,760 in payment due to stolen login credentials.
