American Legislators Schedule 'Crypto Week' from July 14 to Address Key Digital Asset Bills
The U.S. House of Representatives is set to start 'Crypto Week' from July 14, during which three key digital asset bills will be reviewed. These include the CLARITY Act, the Anti-CBDC Act, and the GENIUS Act. The aim of these bills is to establish clear regulatory policies, protect consumers, and prevent the creation of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC).
Despite passing the GENIUS Act in the Senate, it has faced opposition from Democratic lawmakers due to concerns over President Trump's links to the crypto industry. The CLARITY Act, which mandates crypto firms to disclose financial information and separate customer funds from company assets, has received approval from the House Financial Services and the Agriculture Committees.
