NEW - UK's NHS launches its health plan to transform its app by 2028 into a digital “health coach", offering same day GP appointments using AI, genomic testing for over 40s to predict and prevent illnesses, wearable devices for health monitoring and a digital points scheme to "reward" healthy behaviours.
PM Starmer says the app will become the “doctor in my pocket" and a “indispensable part of life.”
