The US House of Representatives has finally passed Trump's 'Great Beautiful Law'.

After hours of debate, the project was approved by a narrow margin: 218 - for, 214 - against. It will now be sent for Donald Trump's signature, just in time for July 4, Independence Day, which he set as a deadline.

As noted by CNN, against Trump's 'mega-law', 2 Republicans voted: Thomas Massie from Kentucky and Brian Fitzpatrick from Pennsylvania. Trump is expected to sign the 'great beautiful law' on the evening of July 4, local time, while celebrating Independence Day at the White House. The package, approved by the Senate earlier this week, includes tax cuts and increased funding for the Pentagon and border security. It also includes, among other things, the largest cuts to the federal social security system in decades.

Trump commented on the situation with arms supplies to Ukraine.

US President Donald Trump stated that the US has supplied Ukraine with a lot of weapons, continues to do so, and is trying to help, accusing the previous administration of Joe Biden of 'devastating the whole country' by sending weapons to Kyiv, which risks weakening US defense. Trump said this while speaking to reporters on July 3 before leaving Washington for Iowa.

"We didn't do that (did not stop supplies – ed.). We are providing weapons, but we have given so much... We are providing weapons and working with them to try to help them. We must make sure we have enough for ourselves," Trump said.

Recently, the US announced a halt to part of its arms supplies to Ukraine. According to media reports, this refers to the suspension of supplies of dozens of interceptor missiles for the Patriot air defense system, dozens of portable Stinger anti-aircraft missile systems, precision artillery shells, over 100 Hellfire missiles, and AIM missiles.

Trump: conversation with Putin did not bring progress.

US President Donald Trump stated that his phone conversation with Putin did not yield results, and he is 'dissatisfied' with the situation in Ukraine. 'I didn’t make any progress with him at all,' Trump told reporters after the July 3 conversation. At the same time, the Russian leader expressed Russia's readiness for the negotiation process. According to reports from both sides, the dates for the third round of negotiations between the Russian and Ukrainian delegations in Istanbul or the possibility of a personal meeting between Trump and Putin were not discussed during the conversation. On June 25, following his participation in the NATO summit in The Hague, US President Donald Trump suggested that Putin's territorial ambitions are greater than the occupation of Ukrainian territories, but at the same time reiterated his earlier statement that Russia would like to end the war against Ukraine.

"I will talk to President Zelensky on Friday. And you know, I'm very disappointed with the conversation with President Putin. Because, honestly, it seems to me that Putin is just... not there anymore. I don't see that he wants to stop. And that's very bad. Really. I'm just saying it as it is – he doesn't look like a person who wants to end this war," Trump.

China told the EU that it would not allow Russia to be defeated in the war against Ukraine.

Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, during four hours of negotiations with EU chief diplomat Kaia Kallas, stated that Beijing cannot allow Russia to be defeated in the war against Ukraine. According to sources from the South China Morning Post, during a closed meeting with Kallas, the Chinese Foreign Minister explained this position due to fears that the United States would then completely shift its focus to China. Officially, China continues to claim that it 'is not a party to this conflict'. However, according to the publication's sources, Wang categorically rejected accusations of financial or military support for Russia. He noted that if China were indeed helping Moscow, 'the war would have ended a long time ago'.

The Ministry of Education expects that this year there will be up to half a million entrants in Ukraine.

The ministry clarified that 125,000 entrants have already registered in electronic cabinets. (LB.ua)

Dairy products may cause night terrors.

This hypothesis seems to have received scientific confirmation. Researchers in Canada surveyed 1,082 university students about their eating habits, sleep patterns, and dreams. Notably, 40% reported that certain foods negatively affect their sleep. Of this group, 20% blamed dairy products. A clear pattern emerged: participants who reported lactose intolerance experienced significantly more night terrors. Discomfort in the stomach can shift sleepers into lighter stages of sleep, where vivid or negative dreams are more likely to occur. If future studies confirm a link between cheese and night terrors, it could have practical implications. Night terrors affect about 4% of adults worldwide and are particularly common in post-traumatic stress disorder. Nonetheless, the new findings come with certain caveats. The sample consisted of young, mostly healthy psychology students who completed online surveys.
