New certified wallets
#WalletConnect announced the second round of its WalletConnect Certified program, which recognizes wallets with excellent user experience, security, and technical compliance.
10 new wallets were added: CTRL, Bifrost, Fireblocks, xPortal, Best, Arculus, Rakuten, BitPay, Blockchain.com, and Bitcoin.com.
To be certified, they must be among the 50 most used, integrate networks like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana (when applicable), and support features like link-mode and one-click authentication.
WalletConnect describes this as a "movement" to elevate the quality of the Web3 ecosystem and facilitate mass adoption.
