COTI Roundup — June Highlights
June was another whirlwind of activity. Three months have passed since Mainnet went live, and the network is now establishing itself. A new cohort of partners are onboarding, while existing partners are now busy building privacy into their apps and services. The privacy narrative is picking up, and we’re very excited for what’s to come!
But first, let’s look back at the activity from June.
TL;DR:
PriveX, the first ever intent-driven private perp-DEX, went live on COTI Mainnet and launched a major trading competition to celebrate
Four exchanges upgraded / listed COTI V2
MEXC launched a $100k deposit campaign
COTI CEO Shahaf Bar-Geffen answered your most pressing questions, twice
New partnerships announced with crossmint and StatWig
Stay COTI held its first regular Vibe Code meetup IRL
Treasury upgrades were completed
Lets dive in.
PriveX Goes Live
One of our biggest ecosystem stories last month was PriveX, an intent-based perp-DEX, that went live on COTI Mainnet. PriveX dynamically sources liquidity, even from CEXs like Binance, while retaining the decentralization of a DEX, thanks to a partnership with Symmio. This is innovative tech!
PriveX is also pushing DeFi into new territory with trainable, monetizeable AI Agents that can be used confidentially, thanks to COTI’s privacy layer, to protect users, and agents, against front-running and copy trading. Both features are incoming, and we can’t wait.
PriveX is a bold step towards a new era of confidential DeFi, and it’s launching at a time when the need has never been greater. PriveX is proving its utility with over $1 million in trade volume in 24 hours. Find out more about the platform here, or check out the PriveX tutorial.
PriveX Trading Competition
To celebrating its launch, PriveX is running a major trading competition, with $65,000 in $COTI and $SYMM tokens up for grabs!
The contest has six phases, which will run for three months, with available rewards increasing over time. The first stage has already started, and it’s a straight volume game, so any activity — no matter how large or small — will put you in the running for a prize. Find out more here.

Exchange Upgrades, Listings, Staking Pools, and Giveaways
June saw a lot of exchange activity, with COTI V2 listings, new staking pools, and reward programs, including a massive $100,000 giveaway for traders on MEXC!
KuCoin announced its support for $COTI V2, automatically upgrading tokens for anyone who held $COTI on the exchange
Gate.com also added support for COTI V2 with an automatic token upgrade
Bitrue listed $COTI V2 and marked the occassion with a giveaway for new users.
Not long after the listing, Bitrue announced that new $COTI Staking Pools were live, offering up to 70% APY in COTI
Also in June, MEXC upgraded to V2 and launched a huge Deposit, Trade, and Referral campaign, with $100,000 in rewards up for grabs! The campaign is live now for spot and futures trading, staking, and referrals. Find out more here
Last but not least, COTI has been integrated into Ceffu Global’s Qualified Wallet for the secure custody and management of $COTI V2
Your Most Pressing Questions Answered by our CEO, Shahaf Bar-Geffen
In June, Shahaf took time to provide answers to community questions. Given the bearish alt-market conditions, the community has been vocal about a number of uncertainties, from the technology to the company and its ecosystem, and put forward over 100 questions! It was a great opportunity for Shahaf to address these head on, first in an article, and then in an interview with COTI’s Ambassador Tracer.
Shahaf dropped some alpha, such as the upcoming launch of an incentive platform for new ways to earn COTI, the reveal of a Node sale later this year, and the planned open-sourcing of Djed, the stablecoin on Cardano for which COTI is technology provider. You can watch the uncut two-hour recording here or, f you don’t have two hours check out the edit by COTI Ambassaor Tracer here, and the article here.

On the tech side, we’re pleased to share that in June the COTI Treasury upgraded to V2 and added support for access on mobile devices, making it easy for users to manage activity on the go.
There are more upgrades to come that are expected to improve the experience with the Treasury and to give validators and network participants opportunities to create a diverse and vibrant node ecosystem, so stay tuned!
A reminder: if you have not yet linked your MetaMask address to your VIPER Wallet, please do so, since you will not be able to manage your $COTI positions without upgrading.
Vibe Code Events
The Stay COTI movement continued it’s program of accessible Vibe Code sessions, to help our builder community accelerate development on COTI. Those who have never coded before can now experiment and create working dApps from scratch.
Junes workshops included:
Using the no-code platform REPL.IT to prototype, iterate, and launch projects, rapidly bringing them from concept to production
Exploring crossmint, provider of lo-code tooling for Vibe Coders
Creating COTI Memes using Sora, RunwayML and other platforms
Creating private donations contracts on COTI
Getting hands-on with COTIs Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Gathering for the first regular Vibe Code meetup in Bangkok, where the Stay COTI team helped attendees explore how to use AI tools like Windsurf and v0 to explore private NFTs, stablecoins on COTI, and automated, on-chain AI agents
Integrations and Partnerships
June saw the expansion of our ecosystem as we welcomed crossmint. This popular Web3 tooling provider helps developers and non-developers to launch enterprise-grade applications in a fraction of the time it would normally take. With an impressive portfolio of existing clients like Diageo, Adidas, and Ethiad, crossmint features easy plug-and-play integrations such as wallets, AI agents, NFTs, and payment processors — all of which can now be used alongside COTI’s on-chain privacy!
Also in June, we partnered with blockchain-powered supply chain company StaTwig to bring secure, private operations to vaccine supply chains. The platform collects sensor data from its distributed refrigeration units and cold boxes and will deploy COTI’s privacy solution to hold and process this data confidentially on-chain. This is a new use case for COTI and we are excited to prove out how privacy can help to power real-time tracking and monitoring on-chain for proof of provenance, analytics, and compliance.
COTI in the Spotlight
Our big story in June was the launch of PriveX on the COTI network, which attracted attention from the blockchain media this month, including hits in Crypto.News, Decrypt, Blockster, and Analytics Insight.
In other news, a large data leak of 16 billion passwords in June led to COTI CEO Shahaf Bar-Geffen’s comments to Bitcoin.com about the need to transition away from the paradigm of passwords. With AI changing the way we engage with almost everything online, we need better systems to protect against identity theft, phishing and system intrusions.
Also in June, DL News published an in-depth interview with Joshua Maddox, COTI’s Chief Ecosystem and Partnerships Officer, covering a wide range of topics, from alternative privacy solutions to AI-powered development. Then, with New York taking a clearer stance on crypto and following his recent attendance at the Inaugural New York City Digital Asset Summit Roundtable, Joshua also talked with Bitcoin News. He discussed how privacy infrastructure could power civic blockchain adoption, from tokenized public records to CBDCs.
Next up, look out for our new series “COTI Fixes This”, exploring the hacks and exploits from Web3 history where garbled circuits could have made a huge difference, starting with the story of a $215,000 sandwich…
Speaking Opportunities
There’s been no shortage of chances to spread the word about COTI this month. In June, we held the 9th COTI Connect Space, hosted by Tracer, with special guest Yves Burri, founder of RWA platform Aureus.money, and Moshe, co-founder of perp DEX PriveX.
COTI’s CEPO Joshua Maddox joined Cointelegraph’s Spaces to discuss the hack of Iranian crypto exchange Nobitex and other recent developments. If you missed it, it’s well worth a listen here.
Then, following Bitrue’s listing of COTI, BD Manager Brad (@Coti_Ship) joined Bitrue for a Q&A about COTI, while COTI CEO Shahaf Bar-Geffen and Moshe, co-founder of PriveX, joined the XDC Spaces to discuss why privacy is such a game-changer for wallets and DEXs.
Offline, Brad has been busy at EthCC in Cannes this week! Check out some of the photos he shared from the event.
That’s all for now. Stay tuned and Stay COTI!
