Bitcoin will reach USD 135,000 this quarter, according to Standard Chartered
Standard Chartered bank projects that the price of bitcoin (BTC) will reach 135,000 dollars before the end of the third quarter of 2025. The estimate was shared with its clients as part of its analysis on digital assets in the second half of the year. The bank highlights the role of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and corporate purchases as the main drivers of the price increase.
According to the report, capital inflows into bitcoin ETFs, along with BTC acquisitions by companies, would exceed 245,000 BTC accumulated in the second quarter. For the second half of the year, Standard Chartered anticipates that these flows will continue to grow. It attributes this behavior to an increase in institutional interest, greater adoption of bitcoin as a reserve asset, and political and regulatory events in the United States.
