Binance Pay, the payment system from the largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance, is expanding its presence on the French Riviera. According to reports from June 30, 2025, thanks to a partnership with the French fintech company Lyzi, over 80 points of sale in Cannes, Nice, Antibes, and Monaco have started accepting cryptocurrency payments. Users can pay with more than 100 cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin ($BTC ) and Binance Coin ($BNB ), through the Binance Pay app. Among the available locations are hotels, restaurants, boutiques, and beach clubs, making the region attractive to crypto enthusiasts.
This initiative simplifies transactions for tourists and locals by eliminating gas fees and providing instant settlements in euros. According to X-posts, this is a significant step towards the mass adoption of cryptocurrencies in popular tourist regions. Binance also offers a reward of up to 9,999 EUR for using Binance Pay in Cannes, which stimulates demand. This project highlights the growing integration of cryptocurrencies into the traditional economy.
