In a bold move on the global trade front, President Donald Trump has confirmed a new bilateral agreement with Vietnam, offering the U.S. unprecedented access to a key Asian Harmony in manufacturing.
According to the new terms, American goods will now flow into Vietnam tariff-free, a milestone Trump described as “historic for U.S. industries.” The announcement lands just ahead of a July 8 Curve in the administration’s trade timeline, where nations must finalize agreements or face new levies.
