On July 3, PANews reported that North Korean hackers have developed malware called 'NimDoor' using the new Nim programming language to target cryptocurrency companies, specifically aiming at Mac devices. The attackers disguise themselves as trustworthy users and spread the malware through a fake Zoom update file, stealing cryptocurrency wallets and browser data. The research indicates that this malware is difficult to detect and can bypass Apple’s memory protection, making macOS devices a prime target for advanced attacks.
