WHAT HAPPENED
🔴 3rd consecutive veto on pro-Bitcoin projects
🔴 HB 2324 proposed to create a state reserve with confiscated cryptocurrencies
🔴 Project approved by 34x22 votes in the House
HER ARGUMENTS
❌ "Volatility of crypto markets"
❌ "Would harm cooperation between police forces"
❌ "Not prudent for public funds"
BUT LOOK AT THE CONTRADICTION
✅ Signed law allowing retention of unclaimed cryptocurrencies
✅ Arizona has had a crypto fund since June 2025!
✅ Texas and New Hampshire already have Bitcoin reserves
MY ANALYSIS
This is pure politics! Hobbs is being ultra-conservative in an election year. Arizona already has functioning crypto infrastructure, but she prefers to reject it for ideological reasons.
