Ripple unlocks 500 million XRP and locks 400 million
As revealed by Whale Alert in a post on X, Ripple has successfully executed its monthly XRP escrow release, unlocking a substantial amount of tokens.
Reportedly, Ripple has unlocked 500 million XRP tokens, valued at $1.08 billion, which were subsequently transferred to the company in two separate transactions: 300 million XRP and 200 million XRP. The transfer of 300 million XRP is likely intended for various purposes, such as on-demand liquidity (ODL), exchange-traded products (ETP), and strategic alliances. Although a third escrow unlock of 300 million XRP was detected today, it appears that it has not been properly executed.
