Figma, the cloud-based design platform, has disclosed a $69.5 million investment in the Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) in its initial public offering (IPO) filing. This investment originated from a $55 million purchase approved by the board on March 3, 2024, and has since appreciated by about 27% as of March 31, 2025.
Additionally, Figma’s board approved an extra $30 million investment in Bitcoin on May 8, 2025. The company purchased $30 million worth of the stablecoin USDC, stating its intention to reinvest these stablecoin holdings into Bitcoin at a later date. This brings the total funds allocated for Bitcoin investments to $100 million as part of Figma’s corporate treasury strategy.
Figma’s move places it among a growing cohort of tech companies integrating Bitcoin into their treasury reserves, reflecting increasing institutional adoption of Bitcoin as a strategic asset
