Trump retorts with “DOGE eats Elon” quip
Musk, who spent over $250 million backing Trump in 2024, has vowed to form an “America Party” if the bill passes, branding the GOP the “PORKY PIG PARTY” and accusing lawmakers of “political suicide.” In response, Trump joked that his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE)—the cost-cutting agency Musk once led—“might have to go back and eat Elon.” When pressed on deportation, Trump quipped, “We might have to put DOGE on Elon.”
