This is not a joke, but a reality from Tesla. Model Y without a driver... without remote control... without security... just get in and go. By itself. Through the city. On the highway. With all the interchanges and turns.
For the first time in history, an electric car was delivered to a customer fully autonomously. Not in an advertisement. Not at an exhibition. Not in the future. But in Texas, in June 2025.
Elon Musk didn't just make a loud statement again. He unveiled a car... that drove off the Tesla factory and made it to the buyer's door by itself. Not a single person inside. Not a single joystick in the operator's hand.
This is not a test drive and not a show. This is delivery. A day ahead of schedule. The car didn't even arrive late.
And if you’re thinking right now, 'well, maybe the route was planned in advance,' 'maybe there was some backup somewhere'... skeptics thought so too. But Musk insists... it's all above board. Full autopilot. No retakes. No wires. No tricks.
Although honestly? Tesla has had experience with 'somewhat embellished' demonstrations. That's why experts are debating... was this really level 5 autonomy? Or a well-staged scene?
But whatever is happening behind the scenes... one thing is certain. Tesla is on the heels of the entire industry. While competitors discuss how to park safely, Musk sends cars on a solo journey through the metropolis.
Why all this? Because it changes everything. When cars start arriving to customers by themselves... logistics, dealers, delivery, service... will become a thing of the past.
Elon Musk dreamed of this back in 2016. He said, 'Soon our cars will drive themselves from parking to parking across the country.' Back then, people laughed. Now the car has arrived on its own.
There is one question...
Is this a revolution or just another publicity stunt?
Write in the comments. I'm really curious, would you get into one like this? Or is it too soon?
