PANews, July 1 - The Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government announced on June 30 the appointment and reappointment of 20 unofficial members to the Third Generation Internet Development Task Force (Task Force), effective from July 1, 2025, for a term of two years. A government spokesman stated: 'Since its establishment in 2023, the Task Force has provided valuable insights that are both innovative and pragmatic regarding Hong Kong's development potential and direction in the third generation internet. The appointed and reappointed unofficial members are all leaders and professionals in their respective industries. With the government's recent release of (Hong Kong Digital Asset Development Policy Declaration 2.0), their expertise and experience will help promote the sustainable growth of Hong Kong's digital asset ecosystem and establish Hong Kong as a global leader in digital asset hubs.'
The unofficial members of the Task Force starting from July 1, 2025, include Cai Wensheng, Chen Delin, Qiu Dagen, Zhu Chengyu, Kong Jianping, Guo Yanlin, Lin Huizhen, Lin Junjie, Lin Chen, Lv Zhihong, Ma Zhitang, Wu Jiezhuang, Professor Pan Shizheng, Alessio Quaglini, Ge Peifan, Xiao Yi, Chen Wenli, Wang Jiacho, and Xiao Feng.
