Whale Has Been Offloading Ethereum for 20 Days: Created a Selling Pressure of 154 Million Dollars!
A giant Ethereum (ETH) whale has increased selling pressure in the market by transferring a total of 154 million dollars worth of ETH to major exchanges over the last 20 days.
The cryptocurrency market is shaken by the movements of a giant whale. According to data shared by Lookonchain, approximately 95,920 ETH valued at about 237 million dollars was withdrawn from staking transactions through the wallets 0x14e4 and 0x26Bb. The whale sent 62,289 ETH worth 154 million dollars of this amount to popular cryptocurrency exchanges such as HTX, Bybit, and OKX in the last 20 days. Currently, the wallet holds approximately 33,631 ETH valued at about 83 million dollars.
Such large-scale sales by whales typically cause downward movements in market prices. Experts indicate that selling pressure on Ethereum's price may continue in the short term.
Awakened from a 10-year slumber!
Another noteworthy development in the Ethereum market is that one of Ethereum's (ETH) early investors has taken action for the first time in exactly 10 years. The investor, who bought 1,000 ETH at approximately 0.31 dollars during the Ethereum ICO and held it for years, finally took action and moved 1 ETH to another wallet an hour ago.
This early investor, who invested only 310 dollars during the ICO, now holds ETH worth approximately 2.44 million dollars. This move once again highlights the potential for significant gains that long-term investment can have in cryptocurrencies.
