1. Coinbase's BASE chain officially supports Cardano and Litecoin, which means users can trade these two cryptocurrencies directly on the BASE chain. Ada and Litecoin have also entered the Ethereum Layer 2 ecosystem, and future trading can be conducted through platforms like Uniswap. Despite these positive news, cryptocurrency prices have not been significantly affected, and market sentiment remains sluggish.
2. Strategy Company and Metaplanet Company recently made large purchases of Bitcoin, with Strategy's average purchase price around 106,801, and Metaplanet's holdings of Bitcoin now exceeding those of companies like Tesla and Coinbase. Both companies raised funds to buy Bitcoin by issuing zero-interest bonds, becoming important institutional buyers in the market. However, related company stocks are already overvalued, and investment should be approached with caution.
3. The BNB chain is set to undergo the Maxwell upgrade, reducing block processing time from 1.5 seconds to 0.8 seconds, significantly improving efficiency. After the upgrade, users will be able to conduct peer-to-peer messaging on the chain. BNB is currently priced close to the peak of the 2021 bull market, outperforming most mainstream altcoins, but due to its centralized nature, some investors have limited interest.
4. Iranian cryptocurrency exchange Nobitex was hacked on June 18, resulting in a loss of about $100 million in crypto assets. The hacker, claiming to support Israel, destroyed all the stolen cryptocurrencies, aiming to combat money laundering by Iranian executives using cryptocurrencies. Nobitex has announced that it will begin repaying affected users in batches after 12 days.
5. Robinhood is actively expanding its cryptocurrency and blockchain business, recently launching its own Layer 2 blockchain network and introducing tokenized stock trading services in the European market, marking a significant step in its venture into the realm of real-world assets (RWA).
A mediocre team can ruin a great idea; a great team can turn a bad idea into something better. Bet on people, not plans.
Talent is more critical than plans. No matter how good an idea is, if the execution team is not capable, success is difficult; while excellent people, even if they start from a low point, can create value.
