🏛️ Current Status of the Project

On June 17, 2025, the U.S. Senate passed the Guiding and Establishing National Innovation for U.S. Stablecoins (GENIUS Act) by a majority of 68–30, establishing the first comprehensive regulatory framework for dollar stablecoins.

Now, the project awaits discussion in the House of Representatives, with the possibility of being merged with the STABLE bill or passed independently depending on congressional strategy.
