📈 The Solana ETF with staking is here
This Wednesday, July 2, the first spot ETF for Solana with staking functionality could launch, according to Greg King, CEO of Rex Shares. Although there is still no 100% official confirmation, everything indicates that the fund is ready to begin trading.
What is a spot ETF with staking?
A spot ETF allows you to invest in Solana (SOL) without needing to buy the token directly. Basically, investors can gain exposure to the price of SOL through the traditional market, as if they were buying stocks.
The novelty is that this ETF will also include staking. This means that the SOL within the fund will generate passive rewards, making it especially attractive for investors looking for additional yield.
How did the price of SOL react?
As soon as the news broke, the price of SOL rose by more than 4%, reaching $157–158. This shows that the market is anticipating the launch with optimism.
