The fund will make investments between $100,000 and $2 million in DeSci project stock as well as tokens. The entire $65 million will be used over the course of the following three to four years, according to Justin Barlow, head of business development and investments at the Sei Foundation.
Although the Sei Foundation is totally dedicated to the fund, it may eventually look into other investors or limited partners.
This program will only concentrate on venture investments rather than grants, in contrast to other ecosystem funds.
